Geo-coding and Manual Mapping not working was created by bodeinvenice

Hi,

I imported 6 new locations. The import worked perfectly but then I tried to use the Batch Geocoding and it generated errors.

I also tried to open the locations to manually enter the long/lat but it generates an error if you try to change from 0.

Can't quite figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Hi!

First I'd say to make sure you have a valid Google Maps API key added in the component options.

Second, can you give me one of the Addresses you attempted to Geocode?

Also, when attempting to geocode manually on the location page, can you open the JavaScript Console in your browser and see if there are any error messages?

It was the API Key … strange as it didn't generate an error in the Console, but when I generated a new key it worked perfectly.

Yeah, I would say getting a new Key seems to work better for everyone.

For some reason Google is having difficulties with the Transition of old Keys. Easier to to go fresh.
