As of version 2.0.1 for Joomla 3.x it is partially responsive. We will be implementing full responsiveness in the next Joomla 3.x release.

Thanks Jared, actually had the same q going round my brain. Partial responsiveness? What's this mean? Also, if I want to load the locator, but not the map (ie. on a mobile), is this possible? Not sure if this is how the new SL works but what I envisage is splitting the results from the map. Thus, you could load the map on a computer/ipad but not on a mobile..

No doubt - judging from past questions and answers - you've already implemented this into the current SL model (am still using the older J2.5 version)..

Have just started using JoomlArt templates with a new website and their T3 framework and it would be great (and probably a good move) to align the locator with their framework - the responsiveness of their templates is pretty damn brilliant.

when is the next release going to be? Im waiting for the next fix for another problem but I could live with that... being fully responsive just has to work. the company im building a website for is demanding a fully responsive design and well the store locator (the biggest reason for the site) looks horrid when resized...

We dont currently have a time estimate on the next release. It is our policy to not give out time frames of unreleased features. However we expect it to be released soon.

We purchased the Locator around the time you released the bootstrap version, but we are not sure if we did it before or after the release.
One thing for sure: Our version doesn't appear to be responsive. There are too many inline CSS rules that make the layout clunky on all the responsive website we tried it on.

We tried your demo, but, at least with the Chrome emulator, the page the demo is on doesn't seem to be responsive. The entire page scales down and even there, the map ends up outside the T-shaped container.

We would like to purchase the update if we were assured that it would indeed be responsive, but the demo is most definitely not working any differently than if it wasn't.

Are there any resources or a different demo where we can see the locator working in a responsive template?

BTW, among other things one of the issues we see is that the map won't resize at all, and the pane with the location results has a fixed height. On a telephone screen the result is a map that exceeds the width of the page (in vertical mode) and the container for the location results, when empty is always as tall as the map, even though the map is now below it, leaving an empty space.
In the demo we didn't see that issue addressed, but again the entire page didn't look responsive.

We are ready to purchase the locator the moment we know we won't need to spend hours trying to make it work with our website.

We'd appreciate some more information in this regard. Thank you.
