Search in USA: by state name vs. abbreviation

Hi. In Location Manager, we list addresses using 2-letter abbreviation for states (example, Tulsa OK, not Tulsa Oklahoma).

When users use search, we get varying results. For example, in the case of Tulsa, whether we search by 'Tulsa OK' or 'Tulsa Oklahoma', we get expected results.

However, in case of "Pembroke Texas", we get locations in Illinois (very far away) as results. For Pembroke TX, we get expected results.

Is this a bug, or can you explain why? banixx.com/where-to-buy-banixx

I just updated Store Locator to v 2.4.0. Running joomla 3.7.2. This happened before and after this update.

Sincerely, Vicky

Hi Vicky,

It is because there is actually a Texas Pembroke, IL ! Go Figure!
www.google.com/maps/place/Texas,+Pembrok...VT4KHRvOAZ0Q8gEIIzAA

So you can enable google suggestions which would let users choose which one the meant, or specify users to use Zip codes to be more accurate.
