Just installed Store Locator. Does not look right

We have just bought store locator and I am just trying to install it
I have installed the component and the module

I have got a google map key:
ABQIAAAAxHLtE3G76Ik_xVs9tlcACBR76lIxEJah3795FjJkuw-CKXHFChQ2NdIC_-7B6R7S3gJr6J74bVShag

that fits my test domain : new.cctg2.org

I have put this key into "parameters"
I dont know why I do not see the map?

I am using Joomla 1.5.20 and PHP5.3

Any good adivce or is there some install documentation I have not found?

my php.ini files states:
short_open_tag = On

Still same fault

I can see that I can put my map key in with several format.

Plan
If flash
if java
if html
etc

I have just pasted the plain code in.
Is that correct.
Where do I look?

It seems like i can get the map in now:
new.cctg2.org/index.php?option=com_conte...cle&id=10:find-a-box

But i only see it afer i search. Is there a way to have the map fixed below the search boxes?

if I search on "alameda" I get the map but its not there by default
