search not working

7 years 5 months ago #3344 by info@skelp.org
search not working was created by info@skelp.org
Hi,

The search function is not working on this site When I type in an adress and press enter it looks like he is searching, but he keeps on searching and doesn't put results.

I know this is an old version of store locator and an old version of joomla, but I'm working on a new site with all the new version and for now I've got to have a solution for this moment

Storelocater version: 1.8.3.2 (customized version by sysgen media to display results ordered by postal code)
Joomla version: 2.5.28

That version is not going to work anymore...

Google Updated the maps with multiple compatibility issues from the older version.

Thanks for your reply.

I allready found out that this version doesn't work anymore...

I suppose you also received and read my e-mail about this issue.

Considering the fact that:
1. I allready bought your product some years ago
2. I have asked (and payed you) to changed the source code of that version in order to have the results list ordered by postal code.
3. Installing a new version of store locator will mess up result list a d not being ordered by postal code anymore

I want to ask you again if there is a temporarely solution to make the search function work again.

In january this year i allready bought a new subscription to use for the new updated j3 site of this client.

Yes, if you already have a new subscription, download the latest version for J2.5/1.5 and install it.

The Sorting by postal code which you are doing via a custom field, is already part of the latest version.

If you made CSS changes, back up those changes first.
