Can I customise the date and time formats? was created by public@sisquared.com
Hi,

Just installed Image Calendar on Joomla 1.7 and so far so good.

Is there anyway I can customise the date format to display in english format, with the month display in letters (i.e. 9 Nov 2011). I have found an option that covers this but perhaps just cant figure out the code to put in?

Second point, customising the time - I cant see an option to not display an end time. Can I edit this out somewhere, as I only want to display start times.

I am reasonably savvy in Joomla and can cope with editing template and language files.

Great product!

Simon

Hi Simon,

Yup, you can easily do both. And thanks for the praise, glad you like it!

The date and Time formats are in the Component Options, found on the Admin screen in the top right of the Event Manager. This follows the PHP Date Formats: php.net/manual/en/function.date.php

The end dates automatically wont show if its the same date as the start date. If you dont fill in an end date, it will automatically set it as the same as the start date as well. This goes the same for times.

Hope that helps,
Jared

Thanks for the speedy response. I am very impressed.

That has sorted my problem.

Best regards
