Import error was created by n.braam@voortman.net
We are moving our site from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5. We have already downloaded and installed on the new site the 1.7.5.3 Store Locator component. The issue:
1. We exported our data from the 1.5 site running 1.5.2 Store Locator.
2. Updated the columns to be 17, including the new "tags" field.
3. Continue to get errors when importing -
Found: 55 locations. Imported: 0 locations. Errors: 55 locations.
Error Importing Row: 1 - Incorrect number of columns. etc.

A send an email with the CSV file.

I am experiencing the same problem.
I can import one row but as soon as I try multiple (even 2) i get the error message.
I was hoping you have solved this issue for this topic creator, and if you have can you please pass on the solution/fix.
Cheers :)

Are you using a Mac, perhaps in combination with Excel? Try saving your file as a "Windows Comma Formatted (CSV)". This should be an option in excel.

Try uploading that and see if it works for you. Otherwise please submit a support ticket and attach your CSV file. Include your Operating System, and what Spreadsheet program you use.

Hi Guys,

We have just released a new version of the store locator with much improved CSV import functionality. Hopefully this will address your issues. Please let us know!
